Alexandra Fuchs (Lima, 1973).
Designer and Artist. My style is usually characterized by great simplicity affecting the naivety of childish sensibility. It is characterized by its great simplicity in forms and in the use of very bright colors.
As an artist she seeks to find balance and harmony between these two realities, which seem divorced; the real world vs. the fantasy. My works open a space in the memory of viewers to remind them that the simple activities we did as children, such as dancing, singing, flying, riding a bicycle, made us happy. Professional Career: I studied Design at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, in the year 2000. Along with my Design career, I designed and produced showcases with which I acquired certain titles. In 2002, I traveled to Buenos Aires, where I learned engraving with the renowned artist Lucrecia Orloff. With her I ventured into the techniques of lithography and xylography.
