Eduardo Costa

Bio

Born in 1940. He studied literature in 1959 with Jorge Luis Borges. 1959 founder and collaborator in AIRÓN magazine. In the Modern Bar he links up with: De la Vega, Macció, Noé, Lámelas, Minujin, Jacoby, Santantonin, Renart, among others. 1964 friendship with Oscar Masotta. 1966 travels to New York. In Buenos Aires, together with Roberto Jacoby, he carried out the Ilustrated Poems project. Friendship and correspondence with Octavio Paz. Costa, Raúl Escari and Jacoby create the first media play "Happening for a deceased boar" doing that never existed. 1968 presents in NY the series Fashion Fiction I, published in Vogue ph: Richard Avedon. 1969: Street Works, with Vito Acconci, among others. The Fashion Poetry Event, along with Warhol, Rosenquist among others. Tape poems. Names of friends (MOMA collection). The 70s: A piece that is ... Duchamp / Costa Wheel. 80s: Wearable Art. Letter for VIRUS "Honeymoon in Hand". 90s/up to date: Talking Paintings Series, Volumetric Paintings Series.
