Established in 1997, Vane operates a gallery space, as well as a flexible workspace for artists to develop new work, based in the city centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Vane represents a group of critically engaged artists from the North East of England, across the UK, Europe and the USA. The gallery often works in partnership with other national and international partners, including hosting projects developed by artists themselves.
