Bio
Born in Vermelho Novo, Minas Gerais, in 1966, Gilvan Nunes had lived and worked in Rio de Janeiro for many years and currently lives in Pennsylvania, US.
He attended the School of Visual Arts of Parque Lage, from 1986 to 1991, and had as teachers great artists, such as Charles Watson, Hilton Berredo, Daniel Senise, Beatriz Milhazes and Milton Machado.
Statement
I express my inspiration through vigorous and colorful paintings that emerge without plans. I hope to offer the viewers a pleasant visual and extra-sensorial experience and that they can be transported to a fantastic world!
